They are looking for a committed, hardworking Highway Truck Shop Mechanic with experience in the repairing and maintaining of electric, diesel and gas highway trucks and equipment such as Mack International, Ford, Kenworth, triaxle trucks, boom trucks, foreman and water trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in-house at the site shop at one of their 5 locations near you.
• Repair and maintain electric, diesel and gas highway trucks and equipment such as Mack International, Ford, Kenworth, triaxle trucks, boom trucks, foreman and water trucks.
• Work in a safe manner, understand OSHA standards and maintain a clean workplace.
• Experience using diagnostic software and using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience and understanding of computer and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of engines a plus.
• Complete all standard maintenance on trucks and equipment and ensures state inspection requirements are met for cars, trucks, and trailers.
• Must be able to operate basic tools and specialty tools.
• Must be reliable and show up on time.

Highway Truck Shop Mechanic Skills, Education, and Experience

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience a plus.
• 2 years’ experience in the repairing and maintaining of electric, diesel and gas highway trucks and equipment such as Mack International, Ford, Kenworth, triaxle trucks, boom trucks, foreman and water trucks.
• Driver’s License (required).
• Computer and Mathematical Skills.
